SYSMO is making the earth of Belgium shake since november 2012, and the country’s people dance like they have never before.
13 percussionists and a special guest, guided by a conductor, aiming to reach a state of pure rhythm and transe, one objective in mind : make everybody, from the first person to the last, dance on powerful rhythmic music.
The conductor composes the music in real time, live, improvised ! He communicates with the musicians (and the audience) through the use of a dedicated interactive sign language. Cuts, risers, breaks, filters… Electronics ? Sounds like … but all live and acoustic.
